Business process automation for work that costs real money.
Most of the cost in a process is in the waiting and the handoffs. We map where the time goes, redesign the operation, and build the system that runs it.
Business process automation means giving the repeatable parts of an operation to software, so the work moves without waiting for someone to pick it up. Older automation handled fixed rules and clean data. AI extends it to work that arrives in different shapes: documents to read, rules with exceptions, requests that need checking against several systems.
Automating a process exactly as it stands rarely pays. In the illustrative deal desk on our home page, a non-standard deal takes about ten days to approve, of which under six hours is work. The rest is waiting in five teams’ queues. Automating each step would leave most of that wait in place, so the operation is redesigned first.
Map, build, measure.
- 01
Map
The operation as it runs today, its bottlenecks and its economics.
- 02
Build
Engineer and deploy the right mix of software, agents and human judgement.
- 03
Measure
Track cost, speed and quality in production. Improve what matters.
Which processes are worth automating.
Recurring
Often enough that the savings compound.
Expensive
Skilled people spend real time on it.
Measurable
We can establish a baseline and track improvement.
Owned
Someone has the authority to change how the work gets done.
Questions.
What kinds of process do you automate?
Operations where skilled people coordinate across teams and systems: approvals, quoting, onboarding, document review, reporting, support triage. The sector matters less than whether the process is recurring, expensive, measurable and owned.
How is this different from RPA or workflow tools?
Those tools follow fixed rules on predictable inputs, and where that is enough we will tell you. We take on the processes they cannot handle, where the inputs vary and exceptions are part of the work.
How do you measure the result?
The Blueprint sets a cost baseline before anything is built. After launch we track cost, elapsed time and quality against it.
What does it cost?
The Blueprint is £8.5k, fixed. A Retrofit is typically £45–60k, with the price fixed once the Blueprint is done. Operating Partner is £5–8k a month and optional.
